Where does our meat come from?
At the Steakhouse we are showcasing a spectacular and rare type of beef, the Parthenais! Originating in north and west of France, this has been one of Furness's best kept secrets. Local farmer Mark Duerden has been expertly and lovingly rearing these Parisian cattle for the past few years and has now kindly agreed that our diners will be given the opportunity to enjoy what fine dining Parisians have been enjoying for years. Not only is the meat tender, tasty and succulent, it is also low in fat content, so is perfect for the health conscious individual.
Our Head Chef: Rob Jones
We are very proud to welcome head chef, Rob Jones to the Steakhouse! Rob has an impressive work history; having earned 2 Rosettes at the Ryebeck Hotel, 2 Rosettes at Porto's in Bowness, and before that he has worked at 3 Michelin Stars Roca Brothers in Barcelona. Rob will be upwardly tweaking the menu over the coming weeks.
